Westfield Volleyball takes a win and a loss

The volleyball season started off with mixed results for the Westfield Pioneers Volleyball team.

They won their first match against Dodgeland 25-19 and 25-13 but lost to host Princeton-Green Lake 13-25 and 13-25. Iris Slotten led the Pioneers with 11 kills in the first match and 5 kills in the second. Salina Warren added 4 kills against Dodgeland.

Faith Simonson led the team with 11 assists versus Dodgeland and 6 in the second match. Slotten also led with 3 aces against Dodgeland, while Tahya Reetz and Simonson added 2 each. Jaylyn Rachel had an ace in the second match. Abbey Weishaar added 12 digs in the first match and 8 in the second. Braylee Wolff added 7 assists in the first match.
