Wautoma/Wild Rose falls to Berlin, 1-0

The Wautoma/Wild Rose girls soccer team held their second game of the season against Berlin at home on April 12.

According to Head Coach Stephanie Coppens, “We started fast with keeping the ball on our half, and, at the end of the first half the game was 0-0.”

However, Berlin came out strong in the second half as Wautoma/Wild Rose began to get tired, and with only a few mins left in the game Berlin was able to score.

Throughout the game, Wautoma/Wild Rose had several shots on goal by Dani Barcenas, Sofia Paredes, Abby Erickson and Chloë Gulbronson. Senior goalie Anja Blija registered 6 saves.
