Penguins compete against Port Edwards Oct. 4
The Tri-County Penguins competed against Port Edwards on Oct. 4 during a football matchup at Port Edwards High School.
In the first quarter, Port Edwards was the only team to score. They had a touchdown from Tranel or a 73 yard play. Moos attempted an extra point, but it was unsuccessful.
Port Edwards scored three more touchdowns in the sec-ond quarter, while Tri-County had none. Tranel managed to score all the touchdowns, on plays of 63, 48 and 60 yards. Moos had another unsuccessful extra point. Maher managed a two point conversion, and Tranel had another two point conversion.
Tri-County managed to score in the third, but their extra point was unsuccessful. Port Edwards had the same luck, with Bristow scoring a touchdown on a 3 yard play, but Moos had another unsuccessful extra point.
In the fourth quarter, Tri-County tried to come back to a win, but they only managed one touchdown and a successful two point conversion. Port Edwards copied this and won the game 42-14.
The Tri-County Penguins compete against Bowler-Gresham at Tri-County High School on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m.
