Lady Penguins defeated by Pittsville Panthers

The Tri-County Lady Penguins were defeated by the Pittsville Panthers, 54-21, during a Feb. 3 girls’ basketball game at Tri-County High School.

Braelyn Pionke and Skye Hopkins each put 8 points on the board, with Pionke shooting two 3-pointers. Pionke was also 2 for 2 at the line, while Hopkins went 4 for 4 at the line. Courtney Hildebrandt was able to add 5 points of her own for the Lady Penguins, including one 3-pointer.
