Loretta (Laurie) Mrozik, age 82 of Wautoma, passed away Aug. 28 at St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee.
Loretta was born Aug. 14, 1936 in Maplehurst to Lucian Robert and Gabriella Wisniewski, both deceased. She married Joseph Edward Mrozik on Dec. 29, 1956 in San Diego, CA.
Throughout the years Loretta worked in the accounting department at Mororola Inc. in Schaumburg, IL for 10 years and retired from there and moved to Wautoma where she worked at IGA (now Cops) for a few more years. Laurie enjoyed gardening, decorating for the holidays, and seeing the Wautoma High School Musicals. She also enjoyed meeting with friends and family for laughs and conversation.
Loretta was proceeded in death by her parents Lucian and Gabriella Wisniewski, brothers Mitchell, Robert, and William, and sisters Geraldine, Dorothy, and Barbara.
She is further survived by her daughters Cynthia (Charles) Szajkovics, Winter Garden, FL, and Carol (Scott) Klemm, Chicago; sisters Bibian Witek, Lublin, Jean Lorenz, Thorp, and Winifred Niznik, Lublin; brother Benjamin (Cathy) Wisniewski, Milwaukee; in-laws Donald and Mary Mrozik, Richard Mrozik; sister-in-law Laverne Burghart, Ruth (Joe) Howard, and Joyce Russell.
Grandchildren: Curtis Szajkovics, Katharine Szajkovics, Scott Klemm Jr., Erich Klemm,
Loretta will be laid to rest on Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. at Maplehurst Cemetery, Withee. Father Lourdu will be officiating.
Memorials can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
