GERALD L. BUSHWEILER
Gerald L. Bushweiler, 79, of Waupun, passed away July 28 at Randolph Health Services. Jerry was born January 12, 1939 in Wautoma, the son of Leroy and Edna Schultz Bushweiler. Jerry graduated from Wautoma High School in 1957. On July 29, 1961 he married Beverly Bursack in Westfield. On June 14, 1962 Jerry was drafted into the U.S. Army. After the military, he worked as a machine operator for Speed Queen, where he retired. Jerry loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, and camping. He helped build two churches in Alaska with his family. He was a member of Edgewood Community Church. Jerry had a deep faith in God and loved his family dearly. Jerry is survived by his children: Lisa (Terry) Van Buren and Rich (Lindsay) Bushweiler; grandchildren: Andrew Davis (fiancée, Katlin Tabb), Allison Bushweiler, and Katelyn Bushweiler; sister, Diane Bushweiler (special friend, Karl Dretske). Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Bushweiler; parents, Leroy and Edna Bushweiler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edwin and Florence Bursack; sisters-in-law: Grace Bursack and Betty Altenburg; and brothers-in-law: Maurice (Jean) Bursack and Allen (Collette) Bursack. Funeral services for Gerald L. Bushweiler will be held Friday, Aug. 3 at 11 a.m. at Edgewood Community Church in Waupun with Pastor Mike Giebink officiating. American Legion Post 210 of Waupun will provide military honors. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
