A.J. Michael Cruse, age 18 and one of the funniest and sweetest guys ever, was tragically taken from his family and friends on July 28. He was born in Anchorage, AK on May 21, 2000 to Jennifer Riley. He moved to Wisconsin in 2005 and attended the Waupaca School District for his entire school career, just graduating in May of 2018. He was known for his quirky sense of humor and was always a comedian. He was dependable and jumped at the chance to help anyone with anything whether it was bailing hay or running for tools, and he did it with a smile. He was a friend to everyone, especially his “cancer-ridden mother” (his words). He always took care of his mother and made her laugh. He is survived by his mother and father, Jennifer and Dean Riley (Amherst); his brothers, Devon (Waupaca) and Justin (Amherst); his sisters, Keana (Washington) and Tarren (Redgranite); his nieces, Dahlia Soik and Breslyn Abbott; many other close relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca beginning at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place on Friday, Aug. 10 at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. and will resume Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the community for their tremendous amount of concern and support.
