Still time to register for May 19 ThedaCare Helping Hands for Cancer

Final preparations are underway for the 17th Annual ThedaCare Helping Hands for Cancer 5K run/walk taking place this Saturday, May 19, but you can still register to participate. Walkers and runners will depart from the front entrance of ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin at 10 a.m. to complete the 3.1-mile loop course. The run/walk is open to adults and children, making the event a great family activity. Anyone still interested in participating in the run/walk can register on-site Saturday morning from 8:00-9:30 a.m. The registration fee is $25 for adults; $20 for those 17 and under. Full information and a map of the course through historic Berlin is available on the race website at www.5kberlin.org. The race will be timed electronically for fast, accurate results. Medallions will be awarded to the top three male and female winners. Non-runners/walkers who wish to donate to the Helping Hands for Cancer Fund can do so online at https://runsignup.com/Race/Donate/WI/Berlin/ All pledges and monies collected from the run/walk benefit the ThedaCare Foundation-Berlin Helping Hands Cancer Fund, which provides funds to local cancer patients.
