Coloma to host Concert in the Park

The Coloma Area His-torical Society (CAHS) hosts its first concert in the park on Tuesday, July 10. Food service begins at 5 pm and The DelRay’s will play from 6:30- 8:30 pm. This concert takes place under the pavilion in the Coloma Community Park. Picnic tables and chairs are available, but participants may choose to bring their own lawn chairs. There is plenty of room for dancing.   There is also a “cruise in” for cars 30 years old or older, and these cars will receive preferred parking next to the pavilion so everyone can enjoy the cars and the music. The Spalding Store Museum and Carriage house, right across the parking lot, will be open at 5 pm before the concert and everyone who visits will receive a coupon for a free water or soda. The concert is free. There will be a free will collection to help pay for the band as well as two 50/50 raffles. This is a major fundraiser for the CAHS and helps pay for the museum expenses. There is a great playground in the park for the children, so everyone should have a great time. The next concert will be the Clauson Family Music Show in the park on August 1.
