The Redgranite Public Library has announced extended hours to help make the library more accessible to the community. The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.
The new hours have been made possible through donations of books to the book sales, community support and the library voard adjusting the library 2023 budget to reflect the growing need of the library to the community.
The library will also be providing home delivery of materials to people in the area who are homebound. This includes adults, children or anyone who may be recovering from surgery. A generous group of volunteers will help provide this service.
Redgranite Public Library is also offering story times on Tuesdays at 4 p.m., Thursday evening sewing classes starting at 4 p.m., and cribbage Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
