Pleasant View Elementary students enjoyed visiting Leon Saxeville Library
The Leon Saxeville Library in Pine River was the destination for the 5-K Kindergarteners and First Graders from Pleasant View School. When they toured the library, some of the kids got their first library card, borrowed some fun books, or even created their very own terrarium to take home. Those who attended were Elizabeth Olsen, Eastyn Boersma, Willow Montgomery, Maycee Hansen, Marek Kiernicki, River Kelly, Mason Doe, Makana Wohlt, Presley Quick, Karen Syverson, Amy Lambrecht, Lucas Goodwin, Sili Hanson, Jasper Ploeckelman, Anita Hansen, Alexandra Bleeker, Colton Schwister, Finley Amundson, Zyler Hottenstein, Clayton Hanson, Aiden Briskie, and Nickoli Doe. The kids were encouraged to not stop reading when school gets out for the summer. The kids were also encouraged to attend the eight-week Summer Reading Program at Leon Saxeville Library, where they could earn prizes for reading. They could make crafts, play with Legos, and see a magician who will lead the kids in a Kazoo band. There would even be an owl, hawk, and falcon at the Library. To participate, children must sign-up ahead of time by calling 920-987-5110.
