Hancock Library receives donation

The Hancock Public Library is excited to announce the winning of a generous donation from Monsanto. Earlier this year, Michelle Miller from Miller Farms in Hancock received word that her application was chosen as a winner of the America’s Farmers grow fund. She chose the Hancock Public library as the non-profit organization to receive the funds. Since the mission of Monsanto is to grow communities, the Hancock library director Lisa Eisch is using the donation to start a coding club for children at the library. Plans are also being developed for a story walk to be established at the historic Whistler Mounds park in Hancock. The story walk will be open in Spring of 2019. The coding club will begin this November. Pictured are Michelle Miller from Miller Farms and Lisa Eisch, Hancock Public Library Director.
