Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale to be held May 11
The Friends of the Patterson Memorial Library, Wild Rose, are hosting their Annual Mother’s Day Plant, Book, and Bake Sale to benefit the Patterson Memorial Library adult and children’s programming.
The sale features huge 12-inch potted flowers, delicious home baked goodies, gently used books, and DVDs. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, May 11 at the Wild Rose Community Center and the Patterson Memorial Library 500 Division St, Wild Rose
“Every year we are blessed to have the most beautiful flowers in the area. These flowers will bring joy and color to your home all summer long,” said President Deb Kachelmeier. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the library, and funds are used to pay for adult and children’s programming throughout the summer.
“We’re fortunate that we have such a great Friends group. They are just such wonderful, giving people; honestly, we couldn’t provide many of the things we provide without them,” said Kent Barnard, Patterson Memorial Library Director.
The plants are first come, first served, so arrive early to the Annual Mother’s Day Plant, Book, and Bake Sale at the Patterson Memorial Library/Wild Rose Community Center, 500 Division St in Wild Rose. The sale begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon on Saturday, May 11.
