Real care, compassion and concern following death

To the Editor, My wife passed away at home on April 14 at 8 p.m. at the height of the spring blizzard.  She had donated her body to cancer research and had a 24 hour window of time to get her body to a funeral home. The hospice nurse braved the blizzard on the 15th and had the documents by 10:30 a.m. Leikness Funeral of Wautoma was called and took on the challenge and got my wife’s body to the funeral home in time. Her wishes of a whole body donation for cancer research were fulfilled. It is now and will always be appreciated. /s/ Mike Bloedorn, Almond Almond
