Waushara County Health News
Mental health refers to a person’s emotional well-being. The World Health Organization relates mental health to the ability of a person to reach their full potential. If a person has good mental health, they can cope with the normal stresses of life. They are also able to work productively and make contributions to their community.
Mental health conditions affect everyone. They do not discriminate. Anyone of any race, color, gender, or identity can be affected with a mental health condition. A person’s background, however, can make it more difficult to access mental health treatment.
