Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin to host program

On Tuesday, July 24, The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Al-liance of Wisconsin (ADAW) will host a free, one-hour program at the Wautoma WWII Veterans Memorial Building, 440 W. Main St in Wautoma, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. The “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia” educational program is open to anyone. In this program, attendees will learn the difference between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, as well as what causes dementia. People will receive practical advice and strategies about things everyone can do to help and plan, whether they are concerned about yourself, a loved one, or are just interested in helping others impacted by memory challenges. The program will be presented by Kristine Biesenthal, ADAW Outreach Specialist for Waushara, Green Lake, and Marquette Counties.
