Wild Rose School Board approves 2018-19 school year salaries
The Wild Rose School Board approved salaries for the 2018-2018 school year during the June 14 meeting. A lengthy discussion was held regarding the subject before approving an option to offer the WREA a step procedure without chopping the base pay. The support staff on a salary schedule and non-represented support staff will see increases, as well. The principals will see increases, with liquidated damages being equalized at $1,500, while the school counselor receives an increase, with her liquidated damages remaining the same at $750. The district Administrator’s salary wasn’t to be decided until after the Administrator’s review. Health insurance renewal with WEA Trust was approved, taking Option 6 for the 2018-19 school year, seeing a 5.3 percent increase in costs.
