Neshkoro Village Board Meeting held June 4

The 2018-19 Liquor license applications were reviewed and approved by the Neshkoro Village Board at their June 4 meeting. President Shawn Reetz thanked Rick Gohlke and Glen Mentink for putting up the American flags on Main St. He also thanked board member, Jim Good, for constructing the Police locker at the village hall. Property maintenance issues continue to be addressed in the village. The board agreed to increase minimum lawn mowing fees to $125, and the Clerk was asked to send annual warnings to several properties not in compliance. Concerts in the gazebo will begin on Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 pm. New this year, local businesses have provided sponsorships, and refreshments will be sold. A proposal for a Prairie Restoration project at Stan-O-Gene Park will be reviewed and addressed at the July 16 meeting.
