Wild Rose ‘Super HEROES’ support American Red Cross with donation
On Feb. 5, Wild Rose School District students, staff, the Wild Rose Kiwanis Club, and several private donors stepped up as “Super HEROES” for their local American Red Cross.
In past years, Wild Rose students have sold candles, worn hats and pajamas for the day, and even hosted a Donkey Basketball game. The Wild Rose Middle-High Schools’ S.A.D.D. chapter under the leadership of advisor, Liz Dohr, and Elementary School Principal, Matt Wilbert, annually guide this important Red Cross initiative. Private donors Jerry and Ruth Apps, Jon and Jane Wilcox, Michael and Brigette Henschel, and others boosted the students’ donations.
Funds raised will be utilized for Local Disaster Relief and Service to the Armed Forces.
