Hope Lutheran to host annual Country Fair this Saturday
Hope Lutheran Church, 301 E. Mt. Morris Avenue, Wautoma, will hold their annual Country Fair with a Norwegian Flair on Saturday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year’s fair will feature baking demonstrations of rosettes, krumkake and lefse. And for all the lefse lovers, the amount prepared has been increased to meet the demands. In addition to the Norwegian Bakery, there will be a huge bake sale with all the favorite recipes, and a candy shoppe. If you are looking for a delicious lunch, there will be pulled pork and turkey sandwiches with all the trimmings available for outdoor dining under tents. Strawberry Sundaes will be featured for dessert and you will love adding a scoop of ice cream. A Norwegian auction will be held with dozens of items for you to put your tickets in and hopefully be the lucky winner. You won’t want to miss the Second Hand Shoppe with some great buys on gently used items – no clothes – just some fun kitchenware, gadgets, décor, jewelry, etc.
