Village of Redgranite set to celebrate Labor Days Festival Aug. 31-Sept. 2

Redgranite is set to welcome you to their annual Labor Days Festival, one of the longest running Labor Day Festivals in the state of Wisconsin.  You’ll want to be a part of three fun filled days of activities geared around the 2019 Theme, ”Eats & Beats”.  Festival goers will enjoy a great array of “Eats”, and “Beats” from some of the best bands in Wisconsin all weekend long.

The fun begins Saturday where there is something for everyone of all ages.  Vendor Art & Craft Fair (contact Priscilla at 920-410-8467 for available spaces), Free Outdoor Yoga with Jennifer Culver @ Rock Coffee House overlooking the Quarry, Horseshoe Doubles Tournament, Friends Of The Library Book & Bake Sale, DJ Dan Music & Karaoke, City Wide Rummage Sales all weekend ,”Let’s See What You Got”  Amateur Talent Show, Cozy Coupe Races, Tiny Tots Demolition Derby, great food and refreshments, and live music.

 

Of course KidzRok in RedRock is a fun filled event in Willow Creek Park for kids featuring pony rides, petting zoo, inflatables, clowns, face painting, balloon magic, coloring contest, Redgranite Fire Department Bike Raffle, tons of fun games where you can win really cool prizes, kids raffle where you can purchase chances to win a TV, tablet,  toys and more cool stuff.

You’ll know you started your weekend off right when you cap your day off at Willow Creek Park under the tent from 7-11 pm with Road Trip. This is one of Wisconsin’s favorite bands, including some of the finest musicians. A must attend, Come early, bar and food stand opens at 6 pm.

Don’t forget to purchase your 2019 button available in local businesses.  Stop down to Veterans Memorial Park throughout Labor Day Weekend to see if your button is a winner.  All winners need to claim their prize by Monday, Sept. 2 at 2 pm.

On Sunday kick back and relax in Redgranite’s Veterans Memorial Park and enjoy the Vendor Art & Craft Fair, Historical Display of Redgranite, food and refreshments, raffles, and music by The Del Rays who play from 1-5 pm.

Also on the schedule is Bingo hosted by the Redgranite Lions at 1 pm, Friends Of The Library Book & Bake Sale at 10 am, and City Wide Rummage Sales. Stick around for the fireworks over the Quarry to Music at Dusk. While waiting for the fireworks enjoy the great food and fun at the cafes, coffee shop, pizzaria, Irish pub, bars and bowling alley. Redgranite is home to some of the best food and hospitality around.

Start your day off Monday with Free Outdoor Yoga with Jennifer Culver @ Rock Coffee House overlooking the Quarry. Then get set for the communities signature event, the Labor Day Parade.It brings people to main street in Redgranite  and is steeped in tradition. Generations of people will line the streets to enjoy the classic Labor Day Parade.
