Felonies recorded in Waushara County

Thomas D. Manchester, Madison, was in court on Jan. 24 on charges of Possess Ketamine and three counts of Bail Jumping-Felony for a Status conference. An additional Status conference was scheduled for Feb. 18.

 

Henry Andrew Ziel-inski, Stevens Point, was in court on Jan. 24 on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense) for an Initial appearance. The Court accepted the voluntary waiver of the time limits for the preliminary hearing. A Status conference was scheduled for Feb. 18.

Christian R. Newby, Waupaca, was in court on Jan. 24 on charges of Possess w/ Intent-THC (>2,500-10,000g) and Possess Firearm-Convicted of a Felony for a Status conference. A Final pre-trial was scheduled for March 6.

Kory Lucas Drake, Om-ro, was in court on Jan. 24 on charges of Vehicle Operator Flee/Elude Officer for a Status conference. A Plea/sentencing hearing was scheduled for Feb. 24.

Paul Douglas Dopp, Wild Rose, was in court on Jan. 24 on charges of Possess w/ Intent-Amphetamine (>3-10g) and Possession of Methamphetamine for a Final pre-trial. Plea: No Contest to Count 1. Court accepted plea and entered JOC. Counts 2 and 3 – DRI. Counsel are waiving PSI. Court sentenced the defendant to: 8.5 years WSP to be served as 3.5 years IC and five years ES. Consecutive to any sentence currently being served. No credit for time served. Conditions of ES: AODA and follow through, DE must maintain absolute sobriety, DE is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, DE may not be present upon the premises of any bars. Court found DE eligible for CIP and SAP and found defendant not eligible for release until at least 30 months of Initial Confinement is served.
