Waushara Youth Soccer Program to begin mid-August

The Waushara Youth Soc-cer Program encourages a semi-competitive atmosphere in which players can learn and enjoy soccer with a balanced perspective on winning. The program’s goals include teaching soccer skills, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game. This program provides recreational soccer for kindergarten through eighth grade youth from throughout Waushara County. The registration fee covers the cost of jersey, individual awards, and equipment. Please speak with one of the coordinators for confidential financial assistance. Each family will be responsible for selling one box of candy bars. Each player is required to have shin guards and athletic shoes. Soccer cleats are recommended, but not required. Shin guards must be worn at every practice and game for the player’s protection. Those interested can email Timothy Solarek at solarekt@wautoma.k12.wi.us for the registration form, volunteer form, and jersey sizes. Registration has been extended until July 19.
