Wautoma Kiwanis donate iPad to Zach Caldwell
On April 6, the Wautoma Kiwanis Club donated their 39th iPad to Zach Caldwell during our 3rd annual Autism Run/Walk held at Parkside Middle School, Wautoma. Zach attends Wild Rose Middle School and just turned 14-years-old. Pictured are Michelle Caldwell, Zach’s Mom, Zach Caldwell, and Barb Struzynski Wautoma Kiwanis Club Secretary and iPad Project Chair. Money raised at the annual Autism Run/Walk goes toward purchasing iPads and iTunes gift cards for each iPad recipient. To date, the Wautoma Kiwanis club has approved 41 iPads with two more being given out in the near future. The Wautoma Kiwanis Club is so appreciative for all the support they have received from local businesses and the public for the Autism Run/Walk this year and in the past. This enables the club to continue helping children on the Autism Spectrum grow in confidence and expand their social skills with the help of their very own iPad and educational apps they get with the iTunes gift cards. If you are interested in learning more about the iPad Project or need an application for a child you know who is in need of their very own iPad, please contact Wautoma Kiwanis Member Barb Struzynski at 920-787-3990 or go to our website at www.wautomakiwanis.wixsite.com/kiwanis to send a message or learn more about Wautoma Kiwanis Club.
