Rural Rembrandts welcome Rita Bryant

Rita Bryant, owner of Prairie Flower Beads in Portage, will be demonstrating wire wrapping techniques during the June 25 Rural Rembrandt meeting in Wautoma. Rita is a multi-skilled artist, proficient at beading, sewing, weaving, metal stamping, and much more. She has worked in the bead industry for 19 years and opened her Portage shop nine years ago, which has grown to become one of the largest bead stores in Wisconsin.

Rural Rembrandt business meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Wautoma Public Library. Rita’s demo will follow at 2 p.m. There is a fee for non-members.

The club meets April through November on the fourth Tuesday of every month and we always welcome new members. Our mission is to promote the creative arts within the community and to afford a means of education, encouragement, and opportunity for emerging artists.
