Command Pilot Dick Kalata to speak at Waushara-Wautoma Senior Center

The Waushara-Wautoma Senior Center is excited to announce that Dick Kalata will be speaking at the monthly membership meeting in September. This meeting is open to the entire community, and there is no charge.

Dick Kalata is a Wisconsin native son who was born in Waupaca and raised on a farm between Wautoma and Plainfield. He served as the Command Pilot in the Presidential Helicopter Squadron during the Nixon, Ford, and Carter presidencies, from 1972 until June, 1977. He also served in other command positions until his retirement from the Marine Corps in 1992 after 28 years of service.


Attend this event to listen and meet Col. Kalata on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 1:30 p.m.
