Habitat for Humanity and Wautoma Kiwanis present 33rd iPad

At the Wautoma Kiwanis Aug. 30 morning meeting at Culver’s, they presented their 33rd iPad to 13-year-old Chevy Fullmer. The funds for this iPad and iTunes Gift Cards were provided by Habitat for Humanity, which helped to give an iPad to a child that the Wautoma Kiwanis Club had approved to receive one. Chevy was the lucky recipient of this dual combination of Wautoma Kiwanis and Habitat for Humanity effort. Chevy will be entering in the 7th grade in Wild Rose when school starts again in September. Chevy was surprised when she was given her own iPad and got to reveal her name on the board of recipients. Pictured are Wautoma Kiwanis President Peter Braatz, Chevy Fullmer, Wautoma Kiwanis Secretary Barb Struzynski, and iPad Chair person, Kelly Fullmer, Chevy’s mother. Not pictured was Denise Dudek from Habitat for Humanity.
