Artist Mel Kolstad to demo at Rural Rembrandt meeting

On Tuesday, May 28 the Rural Rembrandt Art Club will welcome Mel Kolstad, a printmaking and collage artist from Fond du Lac, who will be demonstrating paper making. She is a Certified Papermaker for Arnold Grummer, Inc, and curator for the Langdon Divers Gallery in Fond du Lac. In addition, she teaches many classes and workshops throughout the state. The Rural Rembrandt business meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 28 at 1:30 p.m. in the Wautoma Public Library meeting room. Mel will begin her demonstration, following the meeting at 2 p.m. There is a small fee for non-members.

The club meets April through November on the fourth Tuesday of the month and they always welcome new members. Their mission is to promote the creative arts within the community and to afford a means of education, encouragement, and opportunity for emerging artists.
