Saving Grace Salvage to hold bazaar Nov. 16-17

There’s a chill in the air, pumpkin spice is giving way to peppermint, and the folks at Saving Grace Salvage Company in Berlin, are looking forward to their annual “Green” Christmas Bazaar at Saving Grace from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. At this time of year, the beautiful and historic church building that houses Saving Grace becomes a winter wonderland filled with elaborate displays, hand made gifts, baked goods, and delightful decorating ideas.

The “elves” at Saving Grace would love to show you wonderful examples of gifts and decorations you can make yourself. You will find yourself surrounded by displays that are whimsical, warm and wonderful – upon close inspection you will see those displays are made up of buckets and old sleds and shutters and red plaid stadium blankets and old games and tree limbs. Add a few greens, some vintage pieces, an old lamp to add a glow and there you have it. The Saving Grace staff would be happy to give you ideas and help you plan your own amazing display.

Add to the mix our favorite bakers with their fresh baked goods, Christmas music, free home made treats and some hot cocoa -- your visit to Saving Grace Salvage Company is sure to be a fun and inspiring holiday adventure.

The folks at Saving Grace can’t wait to share the magic of the holidays with you. Come with Christmas in your heart and an extra pair of socks on your feet – the only heat we can offer is the warmth of our holiday spirit.

Saving Grace, along with many other area shops, will be participating in The Vintage Road Show Holiday Round Robin. Saving Grace is located at 246 E Park Avenue in Berlin.
