1/11/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 5:36 a.m. on IH39 southbound in the Town of Coloma. Timothy Kurth, 62, Mosinee, stated his trailer started to jackknife. He tried to maintain control, but ended up striking the guardrail. Steven Corn, 32, Tigerton, stated he was behind Kurth when the trailer started to jackknife. He observed the trailer striking the guardrail when Unit 3 struck the semi’s trailer, but left the scene. There is no information for Unit 3. Corn stated he observed Kurth put his vehicle in reverse. Corn stated he tried to move over to avoid hitting Kurth, but struck his rear tires.
1/21/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:32 p.m. on STH21 westbound in the Town of Mount Morris. Stanley Bajdan, 47, Wautoma, stated he swerved to miss a dog that ran out in front and as a result he entered the ditch. Deputy did observe the vehicle did strike a tree as a result of the incident.
1/26/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 8 a.m. on an intersection in the Town of Marion. Lisa Jameson, 57, Princeton, was northbound approaching the stop sign at STH21 when she stated she was attempting to stop, however due to the road conditions she was unable to stop and kept rolling. Jameson entered STH21 without stopping at the stop sign and struck Javier Addiel, 41, Bronx, NY, just in front of the front rear tandem axel of the trailer of the semi, causing the axel to break and dislodge. Addiel was unable to stop until approximately ¼ mile up the roadway after the collision. Jameson then spun around and contacted the rear bumper of the trailer and then spun into the ditch.
1/28/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. on CTHM southbound in the Town of Saxeville. Francis Groeschel, 73, Bancroft, was attempting to negotiate a curve, lost control, entered ditch and rolled over.
1/29/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 1:26 a.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Coloma. Nickolas Burrows, 24, Coloma, crossed the center line, entered ditch, and overturned. Burrows was intoxicated and left the scene.
1/30/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 6:09 a.m. in a parking lot in the Village of Redgranite. Krystal Disterhaft, 27, Berlin, backs out of a parking space and strikes legally parked Unit 1.
1/30/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:17 p.m. on 17th Dr in the Town of Rose. Diogenes Pozo Mercado, 53, Almond, was traveling too fast for conditions and was unable to properly negotiate the curve. Mercado came to rest approximately 40 yards in the woods. Driver arrested for operating while intoxicated.
2/1/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9 a.m. on N. Long Lake Rd. in the Town of Saxeville. Sue Austin, 69, Wild Rose, failed to properly negotiate curve and slid off of roadway. Vehicle struck a tree and came to rest.
2/1/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:45 a.m. on 22nd Ave in the Town of Springwater. Hanna Jadin, 31, Woodbury, MN, turned right onto 22nd Ave. Vehicle slid on icy surface crossing the centerline, going into left shoulder and contacting the stop sign.
2/3/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:05 p.m. on CTHYY westbound in the Town of Marion. Sergio Rodriguez, 29, Wautoma, failed to yield to the intersection. Brenda Jennings, 56, Plover, then collided with Rodriguez in the intersection. Rodriguez continued on County Road YY and then entered the ditch and came to rest. Jennings came to rest on County Road YY after colliding with Rodriguez.
2/4/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 9:34 a.m. on private property in the Town of Springwater. Unit 2 parked at Oakwood property in the roadway of campground. Matthew Oberts, 31, Winneconne, struck Unit 2 in the same direction and left the scene. Oberts later contacted by Law Enforcement. Oberts place through SFST and arrested for OWI.
2/6/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:13 p.m. on STH21 westbound in the Town of Marion. Jason Reif, 45, Brillion, hit a patch of ice on the roadway. Trailer two swayed from trailer one. Second trailer left the roadway and hit ditch. Trailer 2 over turned. Semi came to rest approximately 150 yards from overturn.
2/7/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:53 p.m. on private property in the Town of Saxeville. Scott Luce, 62, Wautoma, backed school bus up and struck the eve of the building.
2/7/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 4:52 p.m. on Cypress Rd. in the Town of Warren. Cynthia Roggow, 19, Berlin, was negotiating a curve with unforeseen slush and ice in the just the curve portion of the roadway. Roggow reached curve portion and began to lose control of the vehicle. Vehicle went off roadway right into ditch. Roggow attempted to over correct onto the roadway. Roggow did not get the vehicle completely out of the ditch line. Vehicle tipped over onto its side, specifically passenger side of the vehicle, when it came to rest.
2/12/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:45 p.m. on CTHC eastbound in the Town of Wautoma. Savana Konczal, 20, Wautoma, was tired and distracted, slowly went off road to the right, over corrected and went into an out of control skid and came to rest in the east ditch.
