After a line of severe weather came barreling through Waushara County on June 14 the aftermath could be seen for miles.

Alliant Energy, Adams-Columbia Electric Coopera-tive and WE Energies crew-members worked tirelessly for three days to restore power to residents following the line of severe weather that hit the area on June 14.

The top layer of this double/queen-size antique quilt was made in 1900, is in excellent condition, and is being donated for the Hope for Holly silent auction/fundraiser by Craig and Julie Walker.

Having been recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and undergoing a dangerous surgery this spring, friends of Holly Maes Kallestad are hosting a Hope for Holly Fundraiser to help with her medical expenses from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Moose Inn this Sunday, June 25.
