The Wautoma/Wild Rose Warriors completed at the State qualifier Individual Sectional Wrestling Tourna-ment in Seymour this past Saturday.
Colton Martin Placed third at 160. During a non-COVID year Martin would have advanced to State. Due to this year’s restrictions the WIAA is only advancing the top two finishers.
Teammates Hunter Netzler (182) and Christian Weiss (170) also competed at their first Sectional Tournament. Netzler went 1-3 for day placing sixth. Christian Wiess finished 0-2.
Martin, Netzler, and Weiss both faced tough competition losing to ranked competition.
