Carol Ann Bonelli, age 78, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Reflections End of Life Center on the Three Links Care Center Campus in Northfield.

Carol was born the daughter of Leo P. Sr and Ida C. (Passarelli) Bonelli on August 17, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois.  She attended grade school in Redgranite, Wisconsin and high school in Wautoma, Wisconsin graduating in 1958.  She briefly attended the University of Wisconsin.  She lived in Lubbock, Texas while her husband served in the Air Force.  In the early 70’s, the family moved to Apple Valley where she worked part-time and was a homemaker. Carol lived in various areas during her life, but her favorite was California where she spent 25 years. After her retirement, she moved back to Wisconsin to be near family and friends. This past year she moved to Northfield to be closer to her daughter.

Carol loved to play piano, was an avid reader, and a life-long learner.  She was a passionate home cook and her table was always elegantly set.  Family, close friends, and food were a staple in Carol’s life.  She was very proud of her Italian heritage and learned the family’s history through genealogy.  Carol was an attentive and loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her daughter Paula Bonelli (Doug Curwick) of Northfield; her son Jeffrey Grimm of Eagan; her grandchildren Andrew “Drew” (Ashley) Feuk of Littleton, CO, Angela (Ryan) Haugland of Hudson, WI; a great grandson Silas R. Haugland; twin great grandchildren due later this year, brother Leo Bonelli Jr of Sheboygan, WI; and a sister-in-law Robyn Bonelli of Sheboygan, life-long friends Kathy and Jody, and countless extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
