Beverly H. Grant, age 94, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully into the arms of her loving Savior on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose.

She was born August 7, 1926 in Keene, NH, the daughter of Robert Howard and Glia Muriel (Wheat) Heath. She married Ralph Stehling in 1946. He passed away in 1957. She married Gordon L. Grant on May 15, 1971 in Oxford, WI. He preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1994.

Beverly attended Pierce Secretarial School in Boston, MA and UW-Milwaukee. She was a teacher at Prospect Hall Secretarial School in Milwaukee which led her to open her own school, Stehling Secretarial School.  Later, she served as Executive Secretary and Office/Personnel Manager at the former Anderson-Roethle Company in Milwaukee for many years.

Beverly was a member of Alonzo Cudworth American Legion Auxiliary in Milwaukee. She was an avid Amateur Ham Radio Operator earning an advanced license. Beverly belonged to the Yellow Thunder and Green Fox Amateur Radio Clubs.

Beverly will be remembered for her love of traveling throughout the United States in her motorhome along with her two dogs at the age of 74 years. She enjoyed writing detailed memories of her childhood. Beverly was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wautoma.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda L. Stehling (Andy Cayer), Hancock and Cori L. (Roger) Podoll, Wautoma; her daughter-in-law, Karlene Stehling, Meridian, ID; grandchildren, Michelle Gear (Aaron), Dianna (Fred) Walter, Nathan Gear (Ryell), Christina (Chad) Patrin, Nicholas Gear, Jennifer (Brian) Kersey, Matthew (Margaret) Navarro, Beth Montgomery, Emily Wyld (Dan), Timothy Stehling; great grandchildren, Kevin, Jacob, Bradley, Ellie, Brooke, Kylie, Kaitlyn, Karsen, Paisley, Breynn, Gavin, Mia, Austin, Danielle, Phoenix, Michael, James Jr., Kirstin, Jaiden, Gavin, Trace, Zofia, Maximus, Allysa and Sarah; great-great granddaughter, Zoe Jane;  one sister, Rita (Phil) Faucher, Dummer, NH; her sister-in-law, Jean Ashley, Soldiers Grove. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Joseph Stehling; her grandson, James K. Warren Sr.; one brother, George; three sisters, Charlotte, June and Carol; and by her brother-in-law and his wife, Harley and June Grant.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, at 11 a.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Reverend Scott Smith Burial will follow at Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
