On Dec. 28, 2020 the Neshkoro Lions Club voted to cancel their January 2021 edition of the Neshkoro Lions Club Fisheree due to the continued increase in COVID-19 infections. It was decided that this was the best decision to protect all those involved in the activity.
The Neshkoro Lions Club regrets the need for the cancellation and it is hoped that all those who have participated in the past will again take part in the Fisheree in 2022.
Although the Fisheree itself has been cancelled the raffle is still alive and well and tickets will continue to be sold at Murph’s Corner Bar in Neshkoro right up to the time of the drawing at 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 9.
The Neshkoro Lions Club wishes all a happy and, especially, healthy New Year. Again, much appreciation to all those who have participated in the Fisheree in the past and hope to see you again at the 2022 event.
