Driver arrested on sixth offense OWI

Dale L Kovalaske, 51 years of age, from Princeton, has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Wausau Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, sixth offense.

On Jan. 2, a Trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol Wausau Post stopped aBlue 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier on STH 49 near Cypress Road in Waushara County for speeding.

Indicators of impairment were observed and after a subsequent investigation, including field sobriety tests, indicated the driver was operating under the influence. The 51 year old driver was arrested for Operating under the Influence (6th offense), possession of methamphetamine, pos-session of THC and drug paraphernalia.

 

“Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
