Origami classes held at Plainfield Library

Subhead

Two origami classes led by origami instructor Barb Hermans, owner of All About Origami, LLC, were recently held at the Plainfield Public Library.  The classes were sponsored by the UW Center for East American Studies through a grant intended to promote awareness of East Asian culture. Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, is a beautiful art form that anyone can do.  Students of the classes learned how to make paper tulips complete with a base to stand them in.  All the participants had a great time and were glad they attended the class. Barb Hermans, origami instructor, is shown helping Eddie Delafeunte with his origami project during a class at the Plainfield Public Library.
