Wautoma Kiwanis host Bob Sivick

Subhead

On July 23, the Wautoma Kiwanis Club held its weekly morning meeting at Bird Creek Park and the guest speaker was Bob Sivick, County Administrator who is also a Wautoma Kiwanis Member.

Bob spoke on proposed building projects in Waushara County. The current County Courthouse was built in 1928 and will be getting many new upgrades in the proposed building projects.

Other items included in the proposed building project are a new EMS Station and senior dining center in Poy Sippi. Currently the EMS Station is renting and will need to move. Also, a new four season building at the Waushara County Fair Grounds that will be able to be used for many different events is included in the projects.

This is a big proposed building project but as Bob explained this is “Planning for the Future”, and once completed no more renovations will need to be done for 50 years. They are planning to start work in early 2021.

Bob had a lot of great information and answered many questions asked by the members.
