3/18/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:19 a.m. on Archer Ave. in the Town of Oasis. Vehicle struck the north side ditch. There was no driver or occupants at the scene. Deputy observed no tracks leaving the scene. Deputy made contact with Jarrod Coyle, 29, Almond, the registered owner.
3/31/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 9:55 a.m. at an intersection in the Town of Wautoma. Sydnee Dehling, 21, Wautoma, was westbound in lane one while Mitchell Greer, 30, Omro, was parallel in lane two. Greer signaled to make a right hand lane change into lane one and struck the side of Dehling. Greer continued westbound without stopping. Information given located Greer, who stated signaled without looking and was relying on electronic blind spot monitoring that he stated were not working. Greer hit Dehling and failed to stop because anxiety and scared. Greer charged with hit and run crash and multiple citations.
4/2/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:20 p.m. on STH49 northbound in the Town of Bloomfield. Brian Baehman, 44, New London, exited the roadway to the right onto the east shoulder, strikes mailbox, crosses centerline, exits roadway left into the west ditch. Vehicle rolls over and comes to a stop.
4/6/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10:35 a.m. on an intersection in the Town of Oasis. Zachary Lambert, 21, Wild Rose, admitted to feeling tired with lack of sleep and fell asleep and crossed centerline and into eastbound lane before leaving roadway to the left and entering ditch. After entering ditch and continuing westbound, the vehicle overturned onto driver’s side while coming back onto roadway and came to rest on drivers side in the middle of the roadway to the west of the intersection.
4/7/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 4:20 p.m. on Akron Ave in the Town of Oasis. Grant Gear, 41, Plainfield, attempted to negotiate a curve and lost control. Vehicle went off roadway, striking an embankment, overturned, and came to rest.
4/9/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 12:38 p.m. on STH21 eastbound in the City of Wautoma. Judy Young, 78, Plainfield, was leaving a gas station driveway to make a left turn. While doing so, David Miller, 61, Neshkoro, was traveling in lane one on a motorcycle and struck Young. Miller lost control and the tip pinned Miller.
4/15/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 12:35 a.m. on Aspen Ave in the Town of Springwater. Scott Bauer, 59, Wild Rose, left the roadway right and entered ditch. Vehicle struck trees in the south ditch and came to rest in the ditch.
