Accidents reported in Waushara County

3/26/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:40 a.m. on CTHX eastbound in the Town of Aurora. Joseph Garczynski, 18, Berlin, lost control and left roadway to the right and rolled over. Vehicle came to rest in the ditch upside down in standing water. Driver not on scene, but identified later. 3/26/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:22 p.m. on CTHYY eastbound in the Town of Marion. Xiomar Alarco Lopez, 28, Wautoma, became distracted by an animal on the side of the roadway. Vehicle crossed the centerline, going left of center. The vehicle went off the roadway on the left side. Vehicle strikes two mailboxes and came to rest. 3/27/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 5:38 a.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Dakota. John Keil, 31, Pantego, NC, signaled left in lane one, and continued eastbound in lane two. Thomas Holland, 41, Stevens Point, signaled right, turned right, striking Keil. Keil exited the roadway and came to rest on the sidewalk. Holland turned right into a parking lot, struck overhead sign with the side of the trailer. 3/31/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 9:55 a.m. at an intersection in the Town of Wautoma. Sydnee Dehling, 21, Wautoma, was westbound in lane one, when an unidentified Unit 2 in a black mid to large SUV was westbound, parallel to Dehling, in lane two. Unit 2 signaled to make a right hand lane change into lane one and struck the side of Dehling. Unit 2 then proceeded westbound without stopping. 4/1/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 2:34 a.m. at an intersection in the City of Wautoma. Pedro Hernandez, 28, Poy Sippi, was traveling north on Sandcrest Ave, failing to stop at the stop sign. Hernandez traveled up the curb striking a sign and vehicle two. Vehicle two was legally parked and had no occupants. Hernandez left the parking lot and was stopped by deputies approximately 20 feet from the crash.
