Miller expresses importance of Waushara County CPR courses

Letter to the editor:

Recently I had an unfortunate opportunity to perform CPR on my husband. I have been told, by several people in the medical profession, that I was instrumental in saving his life, using the knowledge I acquired in a CPR course offered at the Waushara County EMS office, plus a subsequent refresher course.

I recommend this course to all who are able, having seen the results close up and personal. I now realize how vital this knowledge is.

The Waushara County EMS department offers a FREE “Hands Only” CPR course on the second Wednesday of each month at the EMS office located at the Waushara County Health Department in Wautoma. The department asks that you call 920-787-0412 to register in advance. Please check the county website at to view other classes that are offered.

I cannot express enough the importance of this course. You never know when and where you may be called upon to save a life. Please call for the next class.
