Wild Rose School Board approves two softball coaching positions

The Wild Rose School Board approved personnel appointments during a March 25 meeting.

Matt Havlovitz was approved for becoming the next varsity softball coach, and Logan Erickson was approved for becoming the assistant softball coach as the season quickly approaches. 

The Board went on to consider early college credit applications for Ashley Zacharias and Austin Konrath. Start college now applications were also approved for FVTC coursed to be taken by Austin Lennert, Olivia Seifert, and Jaidyn Knueppel after a lengthy discussion.

A leave of absence request from Jasmine Hanson was granted, and a retirement announcement from middle school special education teacher Terry Sullivan was also approved.

A $3,300 gift from ThedaCare, and a monetary gift from the Dana Jensen family (estate) were accepted by the Board.

The Board approved exemptions from State assessments for two students.

The Board received a presentation from Bray and Miron partners regarding facilities planning.

During the district administrator’s report, it was pointed out that support staff resignation/retirement announcements were received from Pam Schneider and Bob Williams to be effective the end of June.

The next Board meeting will be held Thursday, Apr. 8, immediately following the 7 p.m. Scholarship Foundation meeting. A second meeting of the month will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday the 22nd.
