WASD Board approves Tom Rheinheimer’s retirement request at Sept. 12 meeting

The Wautoma Area School Board accepted the retirement request of Wautoma Area School District Administrator Tom Rheinheimer effective June 30, 2023, during their Sept. 12 monthly meeting at Parkside School.

At the end of this school year, Rheinheimer will have worked a total of 24 years with the school district, serving at Parkside assistant principal, Parkside principal, Wautoma High School principal and district administrator.

The board also accepted the retirement requests of two long-time employees WASD Chief Financial Officer Cindy Reilly and Maintenance Director Wayne Craig, both of which will also retire effective June 30, 2023. Reilly has served the past 12 years for WASD, while Craig will retire after 36 years.

 

The Board went on to approve: Thomas Dubnicka as the Wautoma High School Vocal Music Teacher and High School Musical Director; the resignation of John Epping, Parkside School Program Assistant; the resignation of Lydia Zuniga, Wautoma High School Cook I; the employment of David Woyak, Substitute Bus Driver, Carmen Butt, Wautoma High School Department Head, English/Language Arts and Wautoma High School Advisor, Sophomore Class, Beth Lindenmeyer, Wautoma high School Co-Advisor, and A+ After School Staff; the District Classroom Maintenance project using funds provided to schools from Governor Tony Evers; a leave of absence request; and new/revised board policies, 1st consideration; and the Wautoma High School Health Teacher Contract Addendum.
