On Feb. 8, Jared Abbredis came to Westfield Area Middle/High School to give Student Athletes a motivational talk. During the presentation, Jared spoke about how to overcome challenges, stay motivated, and how if you to stay true to your goals a boy from Wautoma can became an NFL player.

Students in Ms. Lyons’ kindergarten class were introduced to coding this week.  They learned that coding can include both plugged and unplugged activities.  The first few lessons in our code.org resource are unplugged activities that introduce technology vocabulary to the students.

The Fit Friends For Life Group, in Waushara County, graciously put together 25 Valentine gift boxes filled with daily essentials, as well as chocolates, for local survivors. The love and support from this group is amazing.

Twelve volunteers gathered Jan. 24 at the CAPsell Center in Wautoma for additional training with CAP Services’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
