The Wild Rose Over 50 Club Reunion was held June 23 at the Wild Rose Elementary School with 184 in attendance.

Social tine was held for two hours before the luncheon was served by the Main Street Station in Wild Rose, with school memorabilia being on display for all to see

This group of people were heading to the hangar for a bean-bag toss competition during the Wisconsin Powered Parachute Association’s 18th Annual Fly-In at the Wautoma Municipal Airport on June 22.

Connor, 9, and Robert Szilveszter, 12, set an ozobot on a track they drew during a STEAM Tuesday held at the Patterson Memorial Library in Wild Rose on June 18.

 

Members of the Waushara County Highway Department’s paving crew under contract with the Town of Oasis completed asphalt repairs to the township’s 12th Avenue recently. This is the first of four major township road repairs to be completed during the summer of 2019.

The Waushara County Board of Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on June 18 at the Aurora Town Hall as part of their taking the meeting on the road for the summer. The board travels to make it more convenient for Waushara County residents to attend a county board meeting. At the Waushara County Board of Supervisors meeting held at the Aurora Town Hall on Tuesday, June 18, the board approved two resolutions for adding full time officers to the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department.  The resolutions passed included three additional fulltime Security Deputy Positions

The Farm Market property, located on the corner of Waupaca and Main St/Hwys 21/22/73 in downtown Wautoma, was sold and the building has been razed to make room for Casey’s General Store.  The Farm Market started out in a tent 35 years ago, the building was constructed 4-5 years later.
