During the week of Feb. 3-7, Tri-County Schools held a Penny War to raise money for Miguel Duran, a sick child with a rare Cancer. The Penny War was started by SOS (Sources of Strength) members, and $2,762.43 was raised.

Many awards were handed out to members of Cub Scout Pack 3650 at the Wild Rose Lions Building after the Pinewood Derby activities. Mason Malif is the Feb. 16 Pinewood Derby Champion, with Dominic Scott taking second place, and Cody Jalensky taking third.
