Steve, Micah, 9, and Heidi Boyer of Pennsylvania are no strangers to the Saxeville-Springwater Fire Departments’ chicken barbeque, because they have a cottage on Lake Napowan, Wild Rose. On July 14, they found a good spot in the shade for the day’s festivities.

Tom Meyer, from Trout Unlimited, demonstrates how to make a fly for fly fishing. He shared his expertise and experience at the Poy Sippi Library on July 13. The program was both interesting and informative for the novice fly fishermen and women who attended.

Donna Lee Teschner, age 69, of Wild Rose, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at ThedaCare Medical Center-Appleton.
