Waushara County felonies and charges reported

The Waushara County felonies and charges as recorded from the Waushara County Courthouse are as follows:

Adam J. Keen, 31, Wisconsin Rapids, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for an initial appearance for Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense). A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 17.

Mackenzie R. Ruppel, 23, Oshkosh, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for a final pre-trial for Possession Drug Paraphernalia. She received 4 days in Waushara County Jail, 3 days credit for time served, and court costs with DNA surcharge to be paid within 60 days or payment plan.

Calvin L. Conley, 25, Stevens Point, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Disorderly Conduct, Operating While Revoked (revocation due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal), Possession Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting an Officer. He received sentence withheld 2 years and court costs with DNA surcharge to be paid within 60 days or payment plan.

Matthew J. Miller, 24, Greendale, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Possess/Illegally Obtained Prescription and Possess Drug Paraphernalia. He received 7 months in Waushara County Jail, imposed and stayed, 1-year probation, and court costs with DNA surcharge to be paid within 60 days or payment plan.

Bryan K. Houston, 35, Wautoma, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for an initial appearance for OWI (5th or 6th), Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor and Possession Drug Paraphernalia. A status conference is scheduled for Dec. 8.

Jennifer Anne Phillips, 41, Minneapolis, MN, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for a sentencing hearing for OWI (2nd) and Operating with PAC (2nd). She received 22 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, and good time credit, 9 days credit for time served, 15 month driver’s license revocation, 15 month Ignition Interlock Device, fine, court costs with DNA surcharge to be paid within 60 days or payment plan.

Billy Joe Davis, 29, Redgranite, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for a plea/sentencing hearing for 18 counts of Issue of Worthless Checks (<=$2500). He received sentence withheld 3 years probation; Conditions for Count 1: 106 days in Waushara County Jail, with Huber and good time credit, 106 days credit for time served; restitution and court costs with DNA surcharge to be paid within 60 days or payment plan.

Mitchell Donovan Vanwormer, 18, Pardeeville, appeared in court on Nov. 3 for an initial appearance for Take and Drive Vehicle without Consent and Burglary-Building or Dwelling. A status conference is scheduled for Dec. 8.
