Waushara County Felonies and Charges

The Waushara County felonies and charges as recorded from the Waushara County Courthouse are as follows:

James C. Meyer, 38, Redgranite, appeared in court on Aug. 19 for a payment hearing for five counts Failure to Support Child (120 Days +). Meyer also appeared in court for an initial appearance for Deliver Illegal Articles to Inmate and six counts Failure to Support Child (120 Days +). A status conference is scheduled for Oct. 2. 

Rickey L. Pochinski, 25, Poy Sippi, appeared in court on Aug. 19 for a bail/bond hearing for five counts Issue of Worthless Checks (<=$2,500). He received 90 days in Waushara County Jail, all three counts concurrent with each other, Huber privileges, good time credit, 11 days credit for time served, imposed/stayed, 1-year probation; condition: restitution to be repaid in monthly increments following release from custody and court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan.

Larry J. Miller, Jr., 36, Fredonia, appeared in court on Aug. 21 for a bail/bond hearing for Knowingly Violate a Domestic Abuse Order-Injunction, three counts Bail Jumping-Felony, and two counts Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor. A status conference is scheduled for Sept. 2. 

Anthony S. Adams, 25, Wild Rose, appeared in court on Aug. 21 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Manufacture/Deliver THC (<=200g). He received 8 months in Waushara County Jail, imposed/stayed, sentence withheld, 2 years probation; conditions: 56 days time served in Waushara County Jail and court costs including buy money. 

Marlene M. Taylor, 35, Wautoma, appeared in court on Aug. 21 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Possession Amphetamine/LSD/Psilocin, Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor, two counts Operating While Revoked (revocation due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal), and Bail Jumping-Felony. She receive sentence withheld for Possession Amphetamine/LSD/Psilocin, Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor, and Operating While Revoked (revocation due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal); for Possession Amphetamine/LSD/Psilocin only: 15 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, 6 days credit for time served; conditions to all counts: AODA and court costs plus DNA surcharge with 60 days to pay or payment plan.

Sara J. Krause, 51, Redgranite, appeared in court on Aug. 21 for a plea hearing for Contributing to Truancy. A plea hearing is scheduled for Sept. 21.

Daniel J. Downey, 38, Redgranite, appeared in court on Aug. 21 for an initial appearance for two counts Operating While Revoked (revocation due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal 4th +). He received for Operating While Revoked (revocation due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal 4th +): 20 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, good time credit, 11 days credit for time served, fine inclusive of costs, with 60 days to pay or payment plan, DNA sample, and 6 months mandatory drivers license revocation.

Bradley J. Obarski, 32, Wild Rose, appeared in court on Aug. 21 for a plea/sentencing hearing for OWI (2nd), Ignition Interlock Device Tampering/Failure to Install, two counts Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor, and Carry Concealed Weapon. He received for OWI (2nd) and Carry Concealed Weapon: sentence withheld 2 years probation; OWI (2nd) only: 5 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, good time credit, 2 days credit for time served, 12 months driver’s license revocation, 12 months ignition interlock device, court costs as to Carry Concealed Weapon charge with 60 days to pay or payment plan, and fine as to OWI.

 Arlow C. Hess, 54, Fond du Lac, appeared in court on Aug. 21 for an initial appearance for Possession of THC (2nd + Offense), Possession Drug Paraphernalia, and two counts Bail Jumping-Felony. A plea/sentencing hearing is scheduled for Oct. 5. 

Jacob J. Grassl, 19, Hibbing, MN, appeared in court on Aug. 24 for a sentencing hearing for Possession Drug Paraphernalia. He received court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan. 

Perry J. Paulsen, 56, Berlin, appeared in court on Aug. 24 for a plea/sentencing hearing for OWI (4th within 5 years) and Operating with PAC (4th within 5 years). He received sentence withheld 2 years probation; conditions: 6 months in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, good time credit, 2 days credit for time served, fine plus court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan, DNA sample and surcharge, 24 months driver’s license revocation, 12 months ignition interlock device, and AODA. 

Jessica Lynn Messman, 30, Marshfield, appeared in court on Aug. 24 for a sentencing hearing for Possession of Narcotic Drugs and Possession Drug Paraphernalia. She received for count one: sentence withheld 2 years probation; conditions: 60 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, 19 days credit for time served, AODA, and court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan. 

Rosa A. Rivera, 44, Wautoma, appeared in court on Aug. 24 for a plea hearing for Possession with Intent-Cocaine (>15-40g), Maintain Drug Trafficking Place, and Possession Drug Paraphernalia. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Oct. 27.
