Waushara County Felonies

The Waushara County felonies as recorded from the Waushara County Courthouse are as follows:

•Jason H. Pennau, 44, Wautoma, appeared in court on Jan. 20 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Battery and three counts of Disorderly Conduct. He received 90 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privilepges, good time credit, no credit for time served, imposed/stayed, one year probation; conditions include: DAAP and follow through, must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present in bars, prohibited from ingesting/possessing any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, no contact with the victim, court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan, and DNA sample and surcharge.

•Eric Rodger Riese, 39, Fremont, appeared in court on Jan. 20 for a final pretrial for Battery, Criminal Damage to Property and Disorderly Conduct. A jury trial is scheduled for March 16.

•Danielle Edwinajean Verburgt, 29, Wautoma, appeared in court on Jan. 20 for a sentencing hearing for Disorderly Conduct. She received 45 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, no credit for time served, imposed/stayed, one year probation; conditions include: maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, no contact with the victim, court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan. Verburgt also appeared in court for a status conference for Disorderly Conduct and Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor. A status conference is scheduled for Feb. 21.

•Jason A. Beggs, 37, Wautoma, appeared in court on Jan. 20 for a status conference for Forgery, Credit Card-Theft by Acquisition, two counts of Credit Card-Fraudulent Use (<=$2,500), Bail Jumping-Felony and Disorderly Conduct. A plea/sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 3. Beggs also was in court for an initial appearance for Repeated Sexual Assault (at least three violations of first or second degree sexual assault) and Bail Jumping-Felony. A final pre-trial for these charges is scheduled for April 13.
